The Apoli I Dining table by Kifu Paris is both dramatic and organic in its unique design. The stunning semi-precious Tiger Eye Blue top sits on a pair of geometric and sculptural bronze-patina brass bases. This piece is designed by Kifu Augousti the daughter of Ria and Yiouri Augousti. Part of the Apoli Capsule Series, see images of collection at end of slide.
The dimensions of this piece are 118.11 x 43.31 x 29.53 inches
All Kifu Paris pieces are handmade by artisans, ultimately making each piece unique.
Custom color/sizing is available on request.

Although inspired by her parents, her collection of Home Accessories and Furniture is a distinct identity of its own. Kifu uses handmade techniques of elaborate inlay patterns of shagreen, shells, semi-precious stones, materials she experienced as a child growing up in her parent’s studio, but interpreted in a younger quirkier way reflecting her youth. Elegantly sophisticated, this scarce antique is a wonderful example of high quality early 19th century American craftsmanship. Exhibiting fine detail throughout, the exquisitely handcrafted work table features a hinged shaped top with rounded corners, curved concave front, stunning highly figured matched rosewood inlay complimented by mahogany cross banded edge, set over a conforming shaped case. Lifting the top opens to reveal a fitted interior divided into eight compartments, including a hinged lid with built-in flip-up pin cushion, various size shaped lids are finished in mahogany accented by contrasting satinwood string banded border, a faux drawer front with contrasting mother-of-pearl escutcheon rests above a single frieze drawer with hand carved dovetail joinery and original turned wooden pull. Below, a perfectly proportioned carved, turned and fluted solid mahogany central pedestal rises from a shaped platform base, in true Empire fashion, the base is further raised on ornately carved paw feet.

The Apoli I Dining table by Kifu Paris is both dramatic and organic its unique design. The cream shagreen inlaid top sits on a pair of geometric and sculptural bronze-patina brass bases. This piece is designed by Kifu Augousti the daughter of Ria and Yiouri Augousti. Part of the Apoli Capsule Series, see images of collection at end of slide.

All Kifu Paris pieces are handmade by artisans, ultimately making each piece unique.

Although inspired by her parents, her collection of Home Accessories and Furniture is a distinct identity of its own. Kifu uses handmade techniques of elaborate inlay patterns of shagreen, shells, semi-precious stones, materials she experienced as a child growing up in her parent’s studio, but interpreted in a younger quirkier way reflecting her youth.
