An exceptional, fine and impressive Austro-Hungarian seed pearl and 15 karat yellow gold bird brooch; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This exceptional, fine and impressive bird brooch has been crafted in 15k yellow gold. The 1890s bar style brooch is accented with a total of nine seed pearls incorporated within blosson designs to the naturalistic branch. The brooch is ornamented to either end with a yellow gold bird featuring a textured finish replicating the details of the plummage. The brooch secures with a hinged pin and push-pull/trombone safety catch. This antique brooch is hallmarked to the underside of the bar with a maker's mark (GN) and the Austro-Hungarian fox head mark (A, Vienna / 4, 580 standard). The brooch has been tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15k gold. This impressive brooch is supplied with an independent gemstone grading report card.
