Handsome vintage Campaign style walnut bookcases, display units, or shelves with antiqued brass details by Henredon, a pair. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, there was a small veneer patch repair on the shelf/drawer edge and there is quite a bit of aged patina on all of the brass details. No need to panic… YES… you ARE seeing Double!!! A DOUBLE DOSE for DELIGHTFUL DISPLAYING!!! That’s right!! This is a fabulous vintage pair of Campaign style bookcases, display cases, or shelves by Henredon!! Comprised of walnut frames bearing five open shelves, one enclosed shelf, and a lower drawer with antiqued brass recessed bail handle pulls. The cabinet fronts feature antiqued brass decorative details on each corner and T-shaped antiqued brass details at the ends or corner of each shelf. They stand on recessed feet and have decorative carved accents in the upper inner corners and a lovely design where you see a partial edge of the back of the cabinet peeking through the 5 open shelves from the front… a sneaky and quite SPECTACULAR detail!! This doozie of a duo has endless possibilities… Use them separately or butt them together. Flank a doorway, bed, or fireplace. Use them in a den, library, office, living room or bedroom. Use them to house your books or display your mid-century glass. There is an endless array of ways and uses for these handsome pieces. They are solid, sturdy, and they are by Henredon so you know they are of the FINEST quality!! Henredon was founded in 1945 by four Drexel Heritage executives; T. Henry Wilson, Ralph Edwards, Donnell VanOppen, and Sterling Collet. The name Henredon is a combination of their names. These four men were determined to build furniture of custom quality and their original offering was only three chests. It has since blossomed into hundreds of designs still in keeping with their goal. Through the years they have engaged well known designers to create their unique and fine furniture. Fabulous vintage Mid-Century Modern 1 piece walnut & radio weave cane front lighted China cabinet, hutch, or display cabinet with glass shelves and brass knobs. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. It has normal wear and a newly modified recessed black painted base as it encountered water at some point in its life and could not be refinished so we revamped it and modified the base. This is a wonderful vintage Mid-Century Modern 1 piece lighted China cabinet, hutch, or display cabinet comprised of walnut featuring glass front doors with finger hole grooves in the molding on the top section and radio weave cane front doors with brass knobs on the lower section. It has a newly modified recessed black painted base as it encountered water at some point in its life and could not be refinished so we revamped it and modified the base. It looks wonderful!! There are glass front double doors on the upper left side and a single glass front door on the right. Behind the upper doors is a wood shelf (the bottom of the upper cabinet, top of the lower) with plate grooves and two adjustable glass shelves that run the full length of the cabinet. Lovely vintage Chinoiserie or Campaign style off-white lighted display cabinet with faux wrapped rattan edges by Drexel. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There are a few dings or nicks in the finish and along the bottom edge of piece at floor but nothing major. There is also an overall yellowing or fading to the finish which we consider patina. Stunning vintage chinoiserie Chin Hua double display, China cabinet, or bookcase by Raymond K. Sobota for Century Furniture. Comprised of white ash burlwood with ebonized maple accents, brass hardware, lighted cabinet with 3/8-inch glass shelves with plate grooves. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Late 20th Century. YES… Actually, you ARE seeing DOUBLE!! This is a phenomenal DOUBLE display cabinet, China cabinet, or bookcase by Raymond K. Sobota for Century Furniture!! This outstanding piece is part of the original Chin Hua collection designed by Raymond K. Sobota for Century Furniture in 1975. The entire collection was retired in 1998 after a 23-year successful run. So successful that Century Furniture reissued the collection in 2012. And it is no wonder they revived it. The Chin Hua Collection was one of Century’s most revered collections of all time. However, this gorgeous piece is not part of the new collection and is only available vintage. Playing with the Hollywood Regency and Chinoiseries style, Sobota designed this piece beautifully. It is comprised of 2 separate pieces as the top separates from the base, but it’s not designed to use the two pieces separately. However, it is nice for shipping and relocating purposes! The entire piece is all one depth, and the frame is comprised of white ash burlwood with ebonized maple accents and stunning brass hardware. The top of the cabinet is lighted and features four glass front doors with a black wood center divider inside between each cabinet and a total of six 3/8-inch glass shelves (three on each side) with plate grooves behind them. WOW!! The base has two sets of beautiful burlwood front double doors which feature gorgeous brass accent pulls and inside, a fixed wood partial shelf on each side. Talk about wonderful storage space!! Fill it with your favorite sculptures, books, plates, linens, or objects d’art! Whatever you choose to fill it with, this double display cabinet or bookcase is ready to make a bold statement in your living room, dining area, study, or any room that needs a bit of chinoiserie excellence.
