Specifically, there was a small veneer patch repair on the shelf/drawer edge and there is quite a bit of aged patina on all of the brass details. No need to panic… YES… you ARE seeing Double!!! A DOUBLE DOSE for DELIGHTFUL DISPLAYING!!! That’s right!! This is a fabulous vintage pair of Campaign style bookcases, display cases, or shelves by Henredon!! Comprised of walnut frames bearing five open shelves, one enclosed shelf, and a lower drawer with antiqued brass recessed bail handle pulls. The cabinet fronts feature antiqued brass decorative details on each corner and T-shaped antiqued brass details at the ends or corner of each shelf. They stand on recessed feet and have decorative carved accents in the upper inner corners and a lovely design where you see a partial edge of the back of the cabinet peeking through the 5 open shelves from the front… a sneaky and quite SPECTACULAR detail!! This doozie of a duo has endless possibilities… Use them separately or butt them together. Flank a doorway, bed, or fireplace. Use them in a den, library, office, living room or bedroom. Use them to house your books or display your mid-century glass. There is an endless array of ways and uses for these handsome pieces. They are solid, sturdy, and they are by Henredon so you know they are of the FINEST quality!!
Henredon was founded in 1945 by four Drexel Heritage executives; T. Henry Wilson, Ralph Edwards, Donnell VanOppen, and Sterling Collet. The name Henredon is a combination of their names. There are plenty of dressers in this world… and then occasionally you come across a dresser with style that TOWERS over the others…like this vintage “Tower Suite Collection” piece by Lane Furniture!! It is comprised of a stunning walnut frame, 9 drawers total, and a black painted plinth base. It features double doors in the center with rosewood door fronts, rectangular chrome pulls, and three drawers enclosed behind the double doors. Lane was founded in 1912 by Edward Hudson Lane at the age of 21, upon his father’s suggestion after he, John Edward Lane, bought a small packing-box plant in Altavista, Virginia. It is comprised of a gorgeous teak frame with stunning wood grain, straight square legs, and four drawers featuring 2 double recessed half-moon handles. The top drawers open from the bottom, and the bottom drawers open from the top! It’s a simple but oh-so-stunning detail. This is an INCREDIBLE cabinet and it’s bursting with versatility, impeccable style, and ample storage. Enigma definition: A person, object, or thing that is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand. This cupboard is just that… definitely puzzling and mysterious!! And I sure wish it could talk because I bet it has some GREAT stories to share!! Something tells me it’s seen a few things and has had quite an interesting history. It is a one-piece cabinet comprised of oak with a top and bottom section and an open center section. The doors have carvings with (what we believe are) dates back to the 1600’s. The door fronts remind me of vintage livery cupboards… they are nostalgic and quite mystifying!! We don’t believe the whole cupboard is quite the same age, hence, more mystery! We believe the body or frame of the cupboard is Early 1900’s, possibly earlier, and was made from reclaimed lumber or someone possibly took pieces of an old cabinet and repurposed it. The top section is constructed with mortise & tenon joints (no nails!), the inner top & base cabinets each enclose a single adjustable wood shelf with aged wood peg brackets, and stepped siderails or shelf supports. It's 5 O’clock somewhere!! What a FANTASTIC vintage Art Deco dry bar or liquor cabinet!! It is comprised of wonderful Philippine Mahogany and finished all the way around so it can float nicely in any room you choose, plus we have added a lovely new black painted base… and it looks FABULOUS! The front double doors are spilt at the top and in the center by a wood handle that runs the length of the doors of the cabinet. So, you can open the smaller top section and leave the lower portion closed or vice versa. The right door closes over the left, so simply pull the right-hand door using the handle which reveals the inside of the cabinet featuring shelves and a small center storage unit with doors. Piano hinges assist each door in opening and the back of the doors are lined with a gorgeous vintage bark cloth...

Can a girl (or guy) ever have Too many options??? We think Not!!! Seriously!! Take another look at this Extremely cool, Extremely modular “Mystique” wall unit or bedroom set up by Tomlinson Furniture. So many options…We say that because the center, larger unit can be used as a headboard for a full or queen-sized bed. You just need a Hollywood frame, and it backs right up against the headboard which has drop front storage for extra pillows or blankets! The four mirrors are removeable so if you prefer you could take them off and expose a blank wall or hang your favorite piece of artwork. Plus, there are lights at the top of the crown unit and a shelf to hold a lamp, books, or décor! Now, it’s nice to have the two side cabinets in your bedroom if you need the space for storage…there is hanging space in the top wardrobe area and three nice sized drawer’s underneath…AND there are knobs immediately beneath the wardrobe section that pull out into a nightstand surface with a black laminate top!! SO NICE!! BUT…maybe it’s a little much for the space you have, and you want to break it up a bit. NO PROBLEM! The two side pier cabinets are modular and can stand individually in separate rooms or could set side by side in one room. Maybe you want to use the two pier cabinets in a second bedroom and put a beautiful brass bed between them and use the center unit in a different bedroom. The whole unit is comprised of a gorgeous sultry dark wood and the cabinets have beautiful brass escutcheons, teardrop pulls, and hardware. There are truly so many interchangeable possibilities with this wonderful campaign style wall unit and it is made with impeccable quality by an iconic manufacturer. You just can’t go wrong!

Handsome antique Victorian dresser of solid walnut and burl walnut with white marble top and black painted turned wood and brass teardrop pulls. It is in wonderful antique condition with an amazing antique patina. The candle shelves were broken and there was a small piece of molding missing on the lower left side of the mirror frame, but the shelves have been repaired beautifully and the molding carved and replaced by our experienced staff. There are other smalls signs of its long life and use including some staining on the antique white marble. We love its warm antique age patina. The mirror glass is clear but old.
