Handsome vintage Scandinavian Modern teak roll top desk or dresser. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. It has some visible wear, particularly in the top, so you can see some scratches and dings. And it has a newly modified recessed black painted base as it encountered water at some point in its life and could not be refinished so we revamped it, modified, and painted the base black. Stunning modern off-white lacquered desk with brass plated details between the drawers and a brass plated toe kick in the style of Milo Baughman, Karl Springer, Lane. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. It has been professionally cleaned and waxed. The top surface has a stain and there is an all over patina as you would expect with use and age. The brass plating at the toe kick is showing its age with pitting and rust. Wonderful Art Deco style entry desk or bar by IMA S.A. Bogota, Colombia comprised of mahogany, mahogany veneer, laminate, brass hinges, and brass ring pulls. Gorgeous condition with wear as you would expect with a vintage piece but no outstanding flaws that we have detected. A small repair was made in the veneer and is unnoticeable. Please see photos. Circa 20TH Century. MARAVILLOSO!!!! This art deco style entry desk or bar was made by IMS S.A. in Bogota, Colombia and is functional, versatile, and unusually unique. It is comprised of two separate pieces. Both are solid mahogany. The base has a gorgeous Greek Key design on one side and it’s plain on the other so you can change the look to be decorative or more transparent. The countertop is a flip open design with brass ring pulls and brass hinges that open to a large storage area for supplies of your choice. There are two large drawers on each lower side and two smaller drawers above the countertop lined with laminate inside and mahogany veneer. Because it is counter height, it would be perfect as a walk-up bar. Or use it as an entry desk in your home. Handsome Asian teak hand carved drop slant front desk with interior compartmentalized cubby storage in the style of George Zee and Co. of China. This amazing piece is in fabulous condition. Please see photos, circa mid-20th century. This phenomenal drop front desk is made with superior craftsmanship and materials and is in exceptional original condition. Comprised of teak that has been carved on the drop front and the drawer faces with an incredible plum blossom and bird motif. The drop front is slanted above three rows of drawers. The top row having two drawers and the lower two a single full width drawer. All with recessed carved handles. Handsome Mid-Century Modern smaller writing desk by the Robert John Co. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania featuring walnut cabinet with white painted steel frame and white laminate top. This is from their Steelwood collection. It desk is in wonderful restored condition. We have sanded and put a new finish on the walnut and the metal frame. The laminate has been cleaned and polished. There are still signs of age but nothing major. Please see photos, circa 1960s. This wonderful Mid-Century Modern smaller size office desk has been a real puzzle. It has taken much research and I’m still not sure I know about the Robert John Co. from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Their tag says Makers of Contemporary Furniture and that this desk is. When I google them all I come up with is other pieces of furniture being offered that were made by them, but I can’t find any history on the company. And, several listings say the piece was designed by Robert John but made by Knoll. I have not found supporting evidence of that statement! No matter. This is a fabulous desk with a walnut box cabinet containing three equal size drawers that are adorned with cool black and white handles. It is surrounded by a white painted metal frame which accents the walnut wonderfully and a white laminate work surface. This was originally in an architect’s office. I can see why. It has awesome lines and is beautifully designed. This desk is just the right size for a home office. Not as big as an executive desk but a little bigger than a writing desk. Fabulous! Handsome modern custom-made writing desk by Jensen Design Inc comprised of a square steel tube base with natural steel finish, 3 drawers, brass plated sphere details, solid brass corner detail, and a travertine tabletop with natural filled and honed finish and beveled edge. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. No outstanding flaws have been detected. Note that rough welds, a little rust, and some distressing is inherent to the somewhat industrial design of this piece and not considered a flaw. We have filled and touched up a small chip in one corner of the travertine. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Late 20th Century. NOTE: We have a matching sofa or console table and an end table listed for sale if they are still available. What a DASHING writing desk we have to offer to you!!! This is a wonderful modern writing desk custom made by Jensen Design. It is comprised of a square welded steel tube base with a natural steel finish and purposeful industrial style construction; and brass plated spheres in each corner that raises and floats a gorgeous, honed finish natural travertine top. It has three drawers one larger in the center, all with brass plated spherical pulls. The legs are given extra pizazz and heft with the double leg style and solid square brass accent strip. It’s a simple but stunning design that will look beautiful in your newly Covid appointed home office, the den, or study.
