Author Jacques Norvins published one of the most comprehensive and influential histories on the life and military career of Napoleon, trought the works of the most important engravers of the time. 14x22 cm. Good conditions except for some yellow halos on the margins. The Battle of Regensburg was part of the Napoleonic Wars, and was fought on April 23, 1809 between the army of the First French Empire led by Napoleon Bonaparte and that of the Austrian Empire led by Charles of Habsburg-Teschen. Scene of the last battle of the Bavarian phase of the 1809 campaign, the brief defense of the city and the installation of a bridge to the east allowed the retreat of the Austrian army...
