Dating from the mid-19th century and having their origins in France are a set of six signed Sevres Louis Philippe hunting at Chateau de Fountainbleu porcelain dinner or cabinet plates.

This spectacular sweetmeat or candy dish comes from the Sevrès dinner service made in 1832 for King Louis-Philippe's chateaux of Compiègne and Saint-Cloud.

These plates are hand colored and decorated with deer, dog, fox and bird. The pattern was designed for Louie Phillippe. See the detail photos for the marks on the back.
