Each coaster is embellished with a band of pierced and pin struck decoration to the upper portion and plain pin struck borders to each panel. The decoration to the body of each piece incorporates a pin struck bordered shaped cartouche displaying a contemporary bright cut engraved crest. The coasters are fitted with fine and impressive turned mahogany bases. Each coaster retains the original green baize to the underside. The body of each tureen is encompassed with an applied girdle above a contemporary bright cut engraved coat of arms displaying an escutcheon party per pale of a cross engrailed and a lion rampant, encompassed with fabric swaps and suspended tassels. The rim of each antique tureen is encompassed with an applied gadroon decorated border. These impressive sterling silver Georgian tureens retain the original hallmarked push fit covers, surmounted with an impressive reed decorated handle enveloped with chased decorated leaf designs to the terminals. The surface of each cover is ornamented with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting an armoured knight armed mounted on a horse salient holding in his dexter hand a sword above his head.
