Images also show the crescent handle available which is an additional $750 cost for a single door (both sides) and $1500 for a double door (4 handles on 2 doors) and must be specified.
We build custom interior, master bedroom, closet and exterior passage and entrance doors with an atomic Mid-Century Modern style. Pictured is an 80" x 72", but because our doors are individually crafted they can be customized to meet any requirement for use as an interior or exterior door, single or double. They can be produced with door-closers for commercial applications, custom hardware and also be fire-rated if required. All sales include jambs and units are ready to be installed on-site.
Featured above our starburst design with solid half inch by quarter inch solid brass bar raised over a painted (for exterior) or lacquer surface (interior) on both sides of the door. The door can be produced in any color. See our other listings for other models and options for this design. In addition the bars can be produced from either brass, aluminum, stainless steel, colored aluminum or wood (walnut, ash, etc).

The customer also had us install a peephole as well and we incorporated this into the vertical bar. High quality construction with the best hinges, woods and hardware that can be used. All hand made. The key to the doors is the use of old Appalachian oaks to produce hard and strong door jambs with our material sourced through local yards and the woods all selected. Critical to a quality door is the true Stave Lumber Core construction which is as good as a wood door can be; strong and resistant to movement using either oak, poplar or pine depending upon the environment.

Exceptional oak neo-Gothic fireplace and hood. The uprights sides of the fireplace are composed of two columns with capitals foliage patterns, all surmounted by a reserve on which is carved an ermine (heraldic symbol). The lintot of the hearth features a mascaron representing a witch's face carved in high relief with on each side a pattern of parchments. The sculpture on the panelled hood represents a salamander. The salamander is a mythical animal capable of living in fire and extinguishing it. It is a symbol used especially in alchemy and heraldry, it is also the emblem of the King of France François 1er...
