Here for your consideration is a large Chinese Canton bracket clock. The gorgeous hardwood case is decorated with beautiful brass casting applications. There is a large Chinese pagoda on the top to make the appearance of this clock even more impressive. The Roman numeral dial is made of porcelain without any cracks or hairlines. Engraved brass floral decorations surrounds the center dial. The time and the automaton feature can be seen through a large beveled glass panel.
This clock strikes every 15 minutes, Petite Sonnerie striking. The mechanism is 8 day movement, driven by double fusee chain. It's built with heavy brass and with engraving on the back plate. Rare Vintage French Style Mystery 8 Day Waterwheel Rolling Ball Industrial Clock

For your consideration is a mystery Water Wheel Industrial Ball Bearing Clock. It comes with an 8 day movement and keeps very good time!! This water wheel industrial clock has a big paddle wheel on the right side which hold a a set of small steel ball bearings. The weight of these balls is propelling the clock. Please note the time shows a thin glass dial with Roman numerals. Every 60 seconds, a small ball drops down from the water wheel onto the track where the steel ball rolls to the left side. The bucket catches the ball and move it up one by one. Every 60 seconds, a steel ball drops from the left bucket on the channel to the waterwheel. Then the bucket drops down and go around to catch another ball bearing. The loops goes on as the clock keeps on running. The buckets chain is made of brass and nicely done. The power is received from an 8 day fusee movement inside the solid hardwood base, red ash. And the clock has a pendulum on the back to regulate the timing. The whole animation of this clock is just like a waterwheel except it's ball bearing "flowing" through channels and there is a clock on the big water wheel. The clock is protected by a glass dome. It measure 17-3/4" tall, 17-3/4" wide, and 8-3/4" deep including the glass dome. I'm sure this clock will upscale any clock store...

A bollard-type model, it represents the myth of the Goddess Hera skillfully staged. Hera is the protective goddess par excellence of women and the goddess of legitimate marriage, guardian of the fertility of the couple and of women in childbirth.
Here we are in the presence of a scepter or figure two alliances, feminine and masculine entwined, symbolizing the legitimate union of marriage.
No veil for our beautiful goddess but an amphora filled with water, a reference once again to the history of our goddess where each year we celebrated the hierogamy, the sacred marriage of Hera and Zeus, which marked the renewal vegetation.
Hera regained her virginity in the living waters of springs and rivers.
Beneath the dial, a magnificent peacock is revealed, the favorite animal of our Greek divinity Hera, wife of Zeus.
According to Greek mythology the “eyes” visible on the tail of the peacock were placed there by Hera to commemorate her faithful guardian, Argos, who had a hundred eyes (Ovid I, 625).
According to legend, Argos was hired by Hera, jealous of Io, one of the nymphs courted by her husband Zeus, whom she suspected of adultery.
She transformed the young woman into a heifer and entrusted her guardianship to the giant to spy on her husband.

A Superb Coromandel-Veneered Mantle Clock
The case constructed of very well-figured Coromandel giving the maximum amount of decorative effect, with gilt bronze accents; the plinth base of rectangular form, with everted stepped corners, and precisely chased gilt bronze figures, two representing Mercury-the god of travel and merchants with his winged helmet and coin purse in hand; the others representing Fortuna-the goddess of luck; the sides glazed, with mooresque arcaded pierced mounts enclosing a vase, in gilt bronze with overlapping palm trees above: the top of domed form with an octagonal platform, surmounted by an architectural dome, its engraved detail and structure reminiscent of Byzantine prototypes. The silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals for the hours, and within an arabesque dial divided into quadrants, with the key aperture at 6 o'clock. Below, the manual calendar, and a semi-circular thermometer. The dial signed by the retailer "Hunt & Roskell / London." The mechanism replaced with a one-year duration movement by Achille Brocot.

The clock is raised by two elegant rectangular reeded supports at the front and circular spiral fluted feet behind below striking richly chased elongated rosettes centering a fine pierced fitted intertwined laurel branch also repeated at the rounded sides. At the center is an impressive pierced fitted ormolu mount with Rinceau shaped scrolled acanthus leaves and berried laurel garlands flanked by striking fluted columns with fitted decorative ormolu chandelles and stunning lightly curved richly chased cornucopias with ribbons at each side. The enamel dial displays Roman numeral hour markings and Arabic numeral minute markings with elegant pierced foliate ormolu hands framed within an elegant mottled bezel with foliate and beaded designs. Above is the remarkable top crown a richly chased berried laurel wreath, a quiver, arrows, a bow and the eternal flame all tied with a flowing ribbon and displaying a wonderful satin and burnished finish.
