This retro Murano glass sculpture combines the kitsch style of 1960s Italy with the exceptional Venetian glassmaking skill that has made the island of Murano so famous.
The main glass used in crafting the sculpture is uranium glass, which reveals a beautiful, soft lime-green hue in natural light and becomes luminous, emitting a bright fluorescence under UV light.
The piece is further decorated with a vivid blue ribbon of Murano glass, highlighting the rabbit’s back. Hand-applied details in vibrant scarlet red glass dot the paws, nose, and eyes, creating a vibrant composition of form and colour.
Measuring 10 cm tall, 6.5 cm deep, and 16.5 cm wide, it is in excellent condition with no chips or damage.
