Zuri, which is beautiful in Swahili, is a Bronze African Abstract Nude and marks a significant moment in my creative evolution—an expansion from sculpting wildlife into exploring the human form. Initially, my art was inspired by Africa’s magnificent wildlife, but over time, the graceful silhouettes of tribal warriors and women—often glimpsed through the blistering summer haze—began to captivate me in a new way. There was something profoundly moving about their presence—dignified, resilient, and quietly powerful. That vision led me to explore the human spirit in bronze.
