An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Russian silver Torah pointer/yad; an addition to our Judaica silverware collection This exceptional antique 19th century Russian silver Torah pointer/yad has a knopped tapering cylindrical form. The bulbous knops are each plain and unembellished. The plain tapering handpiece is embellished with applied interlacing designs to the upper portion. The shaft of this silver Torah pointer has a stranded twist design, to an undulating circular collar style knop. This lower knop terminates with an impressive hand, with its index finger pointed. The hallmarks struck to the handpiece of this exceptional silver Torah pointer include: Silver quality/purity mark: 84 (84 zolotniks*) City Mark: Moscow, Russia Maker's mark: ФВ (untraced) Such original Russian examples are becoming increasingly difficult to locate; due to their formation they do not stand the test of time. * 84 zolotniki is equivalent to 875/1000 or .875 standard silver NOTE: The Hebrew word yad (יד) translates to "hand" and is used while reading the Torah. A fantastic quality pair of Russian Empire cobalt blue and gold ground swan handle porcelain vases. Each piece is of Amphora form with a gorgeous 24K gold matted, burnished, and shiny front and backside decoration. The front panels consist of a young girl and a young boy, where the young girl is seen holding food on her head with a water pale in her hand walking through the town, while the boy is seen holding a basket of fruit up and walking it back home. The reverse of each of the vases is also elaborately decorated with one of the scenes being a comfy home with a beautiful woody landscape with a deer running through the backyard, while the other vase has a gorgeous landscape scene with a man riding a horse in the background. On either side of the vases are two-tone matte and burnished 24K gold swan form handles. Underneath the handles are 24K gold hand-painted decorations over a cobalt blue ground. Vintage Russian Silver Gilt and Polychrome Cloisonné Enamel Spoons

An exceptional, fine and impressive set of eight antique Russian silver and enamel spoons; an addition to our silver flatware collection These exceptional vintage Russian silver and enamel spoons have an oval shaped bowl onto a elongated stem. The reverse surface of each bowl is embellished with cloisonné floral and scrolling leaf designs on black enamel background, accented with various unusual tones of polychrome enamel highlighting the bead, spindle and tear drop ornamentation. The enamel segments are encompassed with applied silver gilt paralleling rope twist ornamentation. The posterior surface of each handle incorporates a lobed knop to the shoulders. The spoons terminate with blue and maroon toned cloisonné enamel decorated hand pieces encompassed with alternating bead and spindle designs, in addition to a lobed coronet style finial to each terminal. An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique Russian silver gilt and enamel vodka tots - boxed; an addition to our range of drinks related silverware These exceptional antique Russian silver gilt vodka tots have a cylindrical form to a plain knopped pedestal and circular spreading foot. The surface of each Russian vessel is embellished with fine and impressive turquoise hot enamel. The gilt silver knopped pedestals are encircled with further hot enamel decoration to the cylindrical stemmed portions. The anterior and interior surfaces of these impressive tots/cups retain the original gilding.
