Exceptional centerpiece in silvered and gilded bronze, composed of a naiad riding a dolphin, supporting a chiseled shell decorated with reeds, adorned with the head of a river god on its bow and on which a winged love blows in a conch. This large antique perfume bottle is unsigned, but presumed to have been made Bohemia (Austria or the Czech Republic) in circa 1880 in the Renaissance Revival style. The bottle itself is made of jadeite green glass as is the stopper which is completely decorated with extremely ornate cast and gilt brass or bronze mounts.
