Born in 1967 in Lausanne, Switzerland, Yves Béhar initiated his studies in his hometown. He then moved to the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, where he began working as a lead designer for Frog Design and Lunar Design. He founded his own office, Fuseproject, in San Francisco in 1999. Fuseproject's work is based on the idea of shaping a multidisciplinary laboratory of innovative ideas and sustainable scenarios.
