35 White Frame for Twin Table by Lassen
Located in Geneve, CH
35 white frame for twin table by Lassen Dimensions: W 35 x D 35 x H 35 cm Materials: Metal. The Mingle sofa was designed in 1935 by architect Flemming Lassen (1902-1984) and was presented at The Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Competition in the same year. It was subsequently praised for its qualities as a small but elegant sofa in the professional journal “The Architect”. Flemming Lassen loved to travel, and he was often inspired by his journeys throughout Europe. He was very taken with both Italy and France, and had a burning desire to tour those countries on his motorcycle. Flemming Lassen wanted to create a sofa made for conversation with a comfort that invited people to stay seated and talk together for long periods of time. The armrests were designed to encircle the sitters, generating intimacy and transforming the sofa into a cosy place to relax. Flemming Lassen took inspiration from both French elegance and modern Italian style, and transferred the trends and his own ideas to a small, upholstered sofa...

Iconic Danish Midcentury Rosewood Dining Table
By Helge Vestergaard-Jensen, H. Sigh & Søns Møbelfabrik AS
Located in London, GB
This table is 190cm long when extended and 140cm long when butterfly extension leaf is folded under the table top. All surfaces have been lightly sanded to even out any variation in colour between the main halves and the extension leaf. All surfaces have then been re-lacquered to make water resistant. This table has been attributed by some sellers on 1stdibs and some experts to Helge Vestergaard Jensen. I have in my possession both the table documented as designed by Helge Vestergaard Jensen (not for sale in this listing) and, obviously, this table for sale here in this listing. The design and construction are significantly different. I have seen this design with a label from H Sigh and Sonner...
