Since 1973, the painter of abstract, colorfully expressive paintings has exhibited his works in solo and group exhibitions in his native Argentina as well as in Singapore, Korea, Cuba, Uruguay, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria and the USA. The exhibition venues included the "Galería Atica", the "Fundación Banco Patricios", the "Galería de Arte Tema" and the "Galería Van Eyck" in Buenos Aires, the "Art Gallery" in Washington DC and the "Sicardi-Sanders Gallery" in Houston, Texas. In the course of his life, he received various awards for his artistic work. He was awarded the Grand Prize of Honour of the LXXXI Salón Nacional de Artes Plásticas. In 1990 he also received the First Prize for Painting from the Salón Municipal de Artes Plásticas Manuel Belgrano. Marcela Cure is an interior designer from Barranquilla, Colombia, who, in addition to designing contemporary spaces with a Latin Punch, creates exquisite hand-sculpted art objects in materials sourced from the earth.
Inspired by the creative legacy of her late mother, a renowned plastic artist, Marcela dedicated herself to designing her own spaces with such impeccable taste and creativity, that friends and family began to comission her design projects.
It was at the end of 2015 that "Marcela Cure" was established as an interior design firm focused on contemporary and luxury projects, from which modern, cheerful spaces with an evident Latin American spirit are proposed, as well as contemporary art objects.
