The links alternate between large rolo links, which are decorated with a "faceted" design, and "cloud"-shaped links. The flat sides of each cloud-shaped link are adorned with a starburst-motif cutout design, and the sides are adorned with lovely repoussé work. The repoussé incorporates swirling-motifs. The center of the piece features a large heart-shaped locket, which is decorated with a large bezel-set garnet cabochon. The garnet displays an incredible deep red hue, and is bordered by five three-dimensional star-motifs. The remainder of the front surface of the locket features swirling and floral-motif engravings. The backside of the heart-shaped locket features a glass frame, and the side of the piece features a discreet latch.
