This stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 9k yellow gold with silver settings. The circular wreath style setting is encircled with ten impressive claw set pear faceted cut sapphires, totalling 2.90cts. The sapphires alternate with ten paired leaf decorated settings, each incorporating two pavé set diamonds, in a combination of Old European and eight cuts. The upper border of the brooch is further ornamented with a tied ribbon bow design, accented with two further pavé set diamonds, completing the design. This Victorian brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and catch, benefitting from the added security of a safety chain. The brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 karat gold and silver.
