Above the crown is a porcelain heat shield typically found on gas lamps. That shield is an added detail that makes this now electrified lamp a bit different.

This is a real interesting Humphrey gas lamp. Its signed in 2 places... etched into the globe and dated as well on the bottom shade holder.

This is an odd and impressive industrial gas lamp. It's newly converted to take 3 bulbs and uses black twisted fabric covered wire.

This newly wired gas lamp signed SOLAR has a small white porcelain body with an interesting ring of vented cutouts and the original gas seasaw valve and chains.

These were small early gas lamps now wired to take two E12 bulbs. The brass stamped lamp housing has an interesting grape cluster design.

An antique Victorian electrified hanging gas lamp features cranberry glass shade on bronze frame having scroll and jewel decoration, circa 1890.

This one I have not seen and would use in my own home. This was a gas lamp with the valve and adjustments crowning a 12 inch milk glass and heavy frosted globe.

All were carefully wired to take a standard bulb without changing or loosing its gas era character. They are priced per lamp so you can buy a matching set or just one.

The bottom still has all the character of the original gas lamp including the complex arrangement of burners valves and adjustments.
