Spode China Antique

The plate carries the printed SPODE Stone China mark, as well as the hand painted pattern number 3133.

This is a very striking part dessert service made by Spode in about 1828, which is the Regency era. It is made of Spode's Imperial China and has the Frog pattern in mauve/purple.

This pattern (pattern 3125) was introduced in around 1821 and Spode's "Stone China" body was introduced in 1817.

Both marked on the reverse with a blue "Spode Stone China" printed mark, and a red "2061" pattern number.
