Antique Art Nouveau Ceramic Table or Mantel Clock with Bronze Flower Sculptures
Located in Lisse, NL
Rare and stunning majolica glazed antique clock from the European Art Nouveau era. If you like rare Arts & Crafts antiques in general and marvelous clocks in particular then this handcrafted table clock from circa 1900-1910 could be the perfect addition to your collection / interior. When you understand how many difficult and time consuming techniques it took to create this antique work of time telling art, will you really be able to appreciate its beauty, rarity and quality. From that initial sculpture a mold would have to be made and that mold would then be filled with extremely hot liquid bronze. The bronze sculpture would then have to be sanded, polished and gilt. Fourthly, in both the glazed ceramic clock house and the bronze flowers...
