Boguslaw Jagiello Paintings
Bogusław Józef Jagiełło is a Polish artist born in 1960. He went to the Academy of Fine Arts of Poznań and studied at the Faculty of painting, graphic arts and sculpture. In 1984, he obtained a degree in graphic arts from the studio of Professor Tadeusz Jackowski. He also obtained a scholarship by the Ministry of Culture and Arts. Jagiełło practices painting, graphic arts, sculpture, poster art, book illustration and design of theater sets. Today, he currently lives and creates in Klodawa, a village near Gorzów Wielkopolski. Passionated by subjects related to women, Jagiełło represents only female models in his compositions. His characters are similar to porcelain dolls with very pale skin and fine features resembling the physical characteristics of Japanese models. We can admire those women in their intimacy, lightly dress, put makeup on or do their hair in front of the mirror.
