Bronze Bottle-Form Vase, Tsuda Eiju 1990-

Located in Fukuoka, JP

A bronze vase of elegant bottle form, with a tall slender cylindrical neck rising from a full, rounded bulbous body. The surface is finished in a rich dark brown patina with natural variegated tonal highlights. The body is impressed with a square seal mark. The vase measures approximately 21 cm in height and 12.7 cm in diameter at its widest point. As a piece of some age, it shows minor wear and scratches consistent with the passage of time; it is not of recent manufacture, and such age-related surface characteristics should be expected.
