A fantastic, quite whimsical, engaging Mid-century Modern abstract owl/bird sculpture/belt buckle by New York artist Albert Leon Wilson. Wilson was born in 1920 in Jamaica, New York. In the mid-1950s he relocated to Rochester, New York, where he worked until 1967 as an art director, illustrator, and photographer, winning over 20 graphic art awards from the Rochester Society of Communicating Artists. 20th C cast iron cat boot scrape.

Very interesting early 20th Century Czech made taxidermy cow "Tur Domácí Bos Taurus" hind leg for classroom study, probably used at a University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The leg is at least a hundred years old, you can see by the way it is fixed together (the curly iron thread) and the surface ware of the real bones, it is smooth and yellowish. The iron and wood holder however is probably aded very recently (my guess is in the 80s 90s).
