This fine antique George V sterling silver mounted, cut glass decanter has a square tapering form with rounded corners and shoulders. The cylindrical neck of the decanter is fitted with the original plain hallmarked sterling silver mount and circular rounded hinged cover with bayonet fitting. The glass body of the decanter is embellished with impressive cut glass stemmed floral designs. The decanter is further ornamented with a cut glass star motif to the underside. An exceptional, fine and impressive, pair of antique Georgian English sterling silver bottle labels / tickets made by Hester Bateman; part of our wine related silverware collection. These exceptional and collectable George III sterling silver wine labels have a curvilinear ovoid-shaped form. These antique silver labels / tickets are ornamented with a bright cut engraved and pin struck scrolling designs accented with gadroon decorated scrolling leaf motifs paralleling the borders. The body of each label is engraved with the individual wine or spirit: 'Port' and 'Hock'. The upper portion of each label features a circular cartouche ornamented with the contemporary bright cut engraved crest of a demi-lion, holding between the paws a roundel. These Georgian silver bottle labels are suspended by two ring loops and connected by silver round link chains. These fine bottle labels, crafted by the renowned female London silversmith Hester Bateman. An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of contemporary sterling silver African animal themed coasters made by Patrick Mavos; an addition to our range of collectable silverware. These exceptional contemporary cast sterling silver wine coasters have a circular rounded shaped form. The body of each coaster is embellished with an exceptional array of conjoined hippopotamus designs*, ranging in stances; the interior surface of this animal themed border bears details enhancing the anatomical features.
