This antique Georgian sterling silver sweetmeat basket has an oval navette form onto a collet foot. The body of this sterling silver basket is embellished with a band of pierced decorated vertical pales accented with four foliate motifs. The basket is further ornamented with two bands of pierced evolute scrolling decoration with a scallop and circular motif decorated border. The upper rim and foot of the basket are encircled with applied bead decorated borders. This George III sterling silver basket is fitted with an applied bead decorated swing handle. The well of the basket is embellished with a bright cut engraved crest depicting out of a ducal coronet a wolf's head. The body of this antique goblet is embellished with bright cut engraved floral and foliate festoons. The decoration to the body incorporates an oval vacant cartouche to the centre. The upper portion of the goblet is encompassed with bright cut engraved decoration to the border, incorporating two undulating bands. The lower portion of the body features further undulating bands of impressive bright cut engraved decoration. This exceptional antique early George II sterling silver mug has a plain baluster shaped form onto a circular domed spreading foot. The surface of this antique silver mug is plain and embellished with the contemporary engraved crest of a human head couped at the shoulders, surmounted with a coronet. The upper and lower portions are encircled with tooled decorated borders to the rims. This Georgian silver mug is fitted with an impressive S scroll handle with a plain thumbpiece ornamented with the contemporary engraved initials 'EMR'. A fine antique Victorian English sterling silver bon bon dish, an addition to our silver dining collection. This fine antique Victorian sterling silver bon bon dish has an oval shaped form onto a pedestal and oval spreading foot. The body of the dish is embellished with embossed fluted ornamentation accented with a central scroll and leaf decorated motif to the centre of the well. The undulating rim of the dish is encompassed with embossed decoration in addition to pierced simplified foliate designs. The pedestal is embellished with further embossed alternating fluted decoration with a plain rim. The underside of the dish bears the registration number 'Rd 163770.' Condition This antique dish is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition. There are some fire marks to the well of the dish, in keeping with age. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rim are all very clear; the second portion of the maker's mark has wear but remains legible. Dimensions Length 16.1 cm/6.3". Width 11.6 cm/4.6". This impressive flask has a subtly curved form proffering a comfortable fit in the majority of pockets. The surface of the flask is plain and unembellished. This impressive antique flask is fitted with a plain domed hallmarked hinged cover with bayonet fitting. This George V flask retains the original full hallmarked detachable push fit drinking cup which features the original gilt interior, this drinking vessel is a large example for its type. This flask has been tested and is water tight and ready for use. To ensure the flask remains water tight, the cork should be moist and therefore fully expanded to provide an effective seal. There are two recommended methods to ensure the cork does not dry out and shrink: Method one: Keep fluid in the flask at all times, and keep the flask on its side to ensure the cork remains wet.
