Pierre Jeanneret (22 March 1896 - 4 December 1967) was a Swiss architect who collaborated with his cousin, Le Corbusier, designing furniture for Le Corbusier's vast modernist complex at Chandigarh. Jeanneret remained for over 15 years as the project’s chief architect and the city remains a masterpiece of the modern vision. Inspired by the design of the B-52 aircraft, this concept gave us the freedom to create a collection that incorporates subtle elements, harmonic transitions, and thin yet resistant wood sections, bringing to life pieces that are both unique and contemporary. Our studio’s objective was to abstract most figurative references and arrive at the essence of this design, the true “cream,” refining every detail in a three-dimensional way. All our pieces are drawn according to Da Vinci’s golden section, and the Wing Collection is no exception. This ensures balanced proportions and harmony between each element, the result of a deep study of thicknesses and the relationship between every structural component. The Wing chairs and stools are crafted with passion, using premium materials and advanced manufacturing techniques, combined with precise quality control. Their beauty lies in the subtle variations of the wood veins, a natural expression of a living material that remains warm and elegant without ethnic appeal.
