Hand stenciling on the back of both chairs reads : ASM, (L) -006 and ASM, (L) - 004 respectively. These chairs came directly from India, and have never hit the open market for sale. This vintage pair of Chippendale inspired occasional chairs have black wood frames, with raised-crest at back top-rails and a beautiful open lattice design, and hand-woven cane makes up the seating. The chairs are raised on four squared legs, with sabre rear legs, and have H-stretcher supports.
