This stunning 1930s antique emerald and diamond brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold, with a platinum setting. The brooch is comprised of an impressive and large yellow gold ribbed irregular oval toroid shape, accented with a platinum sporadic array emanating from the hole to the centre. The non-uniform array is embellished with nine impressive claw set marquise cut diamonds and fifteen stunning mixed fancy cut Colombian emeralds, totalling 6.07Ct. The toroid shaped setting is interwoven with two curvilinear strands, incorporating forty-three channel set baguette cut diamonds; these strands bear the same alignment as the aforementioned emerald array. This gorgeous Art Deco brooch is circa 1930 and is set with approximately 20 carats of carved rubies in gold and Platinum. The approximately 1.25 carats of diamonds (G-H color, VS-SI clarity) are set in platinum. This brooch is large at over 2" long and 1" wide. It would also look stunning as a pendant hanging from a gold chain (we do this with a lot of our brooches and they look fabulous).
