A fine and impressive 0.13 carat diamond, 0.02 carat ruby and enamel, 14k yellow gold and silver set cockerel bar brooch; part of our diverse bird brooches collection. This fine and impressive antique bar brooch has been crafted in 14k yellow gold with a silver setting. The bar style brooch is ornamented to the centre with a silver set design modelled in the form of a crowing cockerel. The cockerel is embellished with twenty-five pavé set diamonds, in a combination of mine and Dutch cuts. The bird's eye is represented with a single pavé set 0.02ct cabochon cut ruby. The wattle and comb of the cockerel are embellished with impressive red hot enamel decoration. The brooch secures with a hinged pin and sheath style fastening.
