A late 18th Century to Early 19th Century Federal Mahogany Locking Chest of Drawers. 1st, 2nd and 4th drawers have functional locks with keys.

The small upper door could be locked. Chests this large were owned by wealthy people and often displayed in a part of the home accessible to visitors.
