A Pair of Georgian stools firmly attributed to Gillows of Lancaster.

A beautifully drawn Regency simulated rosewood, decorated and gilt lined x-frame stool in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster and London, upholstered in beige horsehair fabric.

English, circa 1810-1825 Very much of a Gillows design and quality, this stool is presented in well preserved condition, the wooden screw to adjust the height working smoothly.

A very good quality original stool attributed to Gillows of Lancaster and London, complete with its original upholstery.

The fashionable firm of Gillows are thought to have first produced this design in 1812 when they furnished Tatton Park, Cheshire for Wilbraham Egerton.

A pair of black leather stools, the legs are attributed to Gillows, the mahogany stools date to the late 20th C and are in excellent condition.

This ‘Grecian’ stool corresponds to examples supplied in 1812 by Gillows for Wilbraham Egerton at Tatton Park, Cheshire.
