Alan Cotton Art
Alan Cotton was born in Redditch in Worcestershire in 1938. He is one of Britain’s most distinguished landscape painters. Cotton studied at Redditch and Bournville Schools of Art, the Painting School of Birmingham College of Art and the University of Birmingham. Cotton was invited by His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, to be his tour artist and to accompany him to Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. His work is in important collections in Europe and the USA, including the British Royal Collection.
