I love the detail in life - a person, an animal, a shaft of light through water, the ever changing clouds. Working in oils I try to recreate a physical memory of water, sunshine and light. I aim to capture the solitude and tranquillity of water or skies by combining realism with impressionistic brushstrokes. Working from your photographs, I can produce high quality paintings of people or pets. For underwater commissions I am able to organise rental of an underwater camera to take on holiday with you to capture amazing underwater images. These unique pieces are a great gift idea or the perfect way to bring a memory to life.
