We have had a shop since 1974, and we get lots of requests as you can imagine. We sell figural items, such as sculpture, doorstops, trays, etc. We get requests for items with owls, snakes, serpents, griffins, skulls, devils, but the one item that we are asked for all the time and never have, is bats. Many people love bats, and they are so very rare to find in the antique world. Several years ago a bunch of chandeliers and sconces started to appear at the shows we do, they were all new fantasy items unfortunately. This tray is only the 2nd item that I have ever owned with a bat, and we are on the lookout all the time. It is signed B & H on the back in big letters...
