Huge and very rare pitcher with handle and a three-sided round bowl with stand designed by Hayno Focken around 1932 and executed by the Kunstgewerbeschule Burg Giebichenstein, Halle an der Saale in Germany. The pitcher which is 68,5 cm / 26.97 inches tall ! and 29 cm / 11.42 inches wide at the widest point, is made of handcrafted brass with a hammered surface structure. The bottom is marked “HF“ for Hayno Focken and additional the number 938. This rare piece is wonderful manufactured with a nice warm patina. It has no dents or significant scratches. After years it stays in very good original condition with little signs of wear consistent with age and use.
