Street Musicians Oil on canvas board

The composition conveys serenity and weariness, presenting an intimate moment imbued with urban lyricism. The brushwork is loose yet confident, reinforcing the emotional depth of the characters. The color palette blends warm tones with hints of grey and blue, emphasizing the introspective and street-like atmosphere. The overall impression is of a moment suspended in time, where music and life intertwine in the silent dignity of their expressions. Artist biography: Albert Roca i Cama was born in Palamós in 1945 and passed away in 2023. He was a Catalan painter associated with expressive realism, known for his energetic strokes and mastery of color.
