Levan Mindiashvili is a Georgian born visual artist currently living and working in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and numerous exhibitions in Europe and his native Georgia, Levan continued postgraduate studies at The National University of Art of Buenos Aires (Argentina). While in Buenos Aires, he curated several shows at The Laguanacazul Art Gallery and was a performer of the experimental theater company Ensamble Caustico.

Small Red Neon Orb was first shown at London Art Fair 2018. The sculpture is mounted onto a mirror polished stainless steel plinth, which is perfect for displaying the piece on a table. Small Red Neon Orb also has a floor standing metal plinth, the plinth is 120cm in height, painted matt black and raises the sculpture to eye level. Plinth can be be boucht separately for 750 pounds. Working with various metals in all their contrasting properties of texture and finish, Mark can make industrial metal appear fluid, malleable and delicate. He continues to study different metals, looking at ways to manipulate and add movement to the material, and over the past 2 years has been developing ways in which neon or LEDs can complement his sculptures, adding movement to a piece and catching the viewer’s eye.
