Yonathan Moore is an Israeli architect and designer based in Brooklyn, New York. His first collection of light sculptures “Optical Monuments” is the culmination of a four year exploration into the optical qualities and sculptural possibilities of acrylic – a study on how different light phenomenons can be harnessed to communicate softness as well as provoke curiosity within us, and how universal forms can invite us to imagine our collective, untold histories.
Yonathan began designing his sculpture series at the Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation ("GSAPP") workshop in New York where he graduated with an M.Arch degree.
Rooted in his prior work and life experiences, Yonathan’s design methodology borrows from his photojournalism background in Tel Aviv, his education at the Architectural Association School in London and the Columbia GSAPP Program in New York, as well as time spent at global design firms such as SHoP and Marvel Architects.
After winning the Collab & Dickies ‘Future Of Work’ Fellowship, Yonathan began production of the light sculptures in a local Brooklyn workshop using a range of digital and traditional fabrication methods. Each sculpture is bespoke and made by Yonathan. 29

Diameter of this fixture as shown is 44 inches, drop 55 inches.
Enamel color may be specified. Standard enamel colors are shown in the final image. There is no additional lead time or cost for these colors and they may all be produced in satin or high gloss finishes. You may also specify nearly anything in the RAL color chart.
This piece is also fully customizable with a 5-6 week lead time. The height, drop rod and wing span can be adjusted to suit any room. The frame can be made in any metal finish including antique, brushed or mirrored brass, mirrored or brushed nickel, blackened steel, brushed copper, mirrored copper (rose gold) etc.
This piece may use any E12 candelabra base bulb up to 60 watts (or use LED). Bulbs are not included. Fabricated entirely of UL-listed components.
