This blue and white Dutch Delft charger was hand-painted in deep cobalt blue in the 18th century, circa 1780. The central scene features a pair of birds in flight above a basket brimming with full blooms and leafy stems. The flower basket is painted with expressive brushwork, creating a beautiful and balanced composition.
