An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver four-piece tea and coffee service, an addition to our silver teaware collection This exceptional, antique Edwardian four piece sterling silver tea and coffee service consists of a coffee pot, teapot, cream jug and sugar basket. Each piece of this fine silver tea set has an oval rounded form, all in the Queen Anne style. The body of each piece is ornamented with panels of fluted decoration, incorporating a contemporary bright cut engraved crest of a wolf chained and collared to one side. The upper rim of each piece is ornamented with an applied moulded border. Both the coffee pot and teapot are fitted with hinged hallmarked domed covers surmounted by the original carved painted wood and sterling silver topped pineapple finials. The silver teapot and coffee pot retain the original carved painted wood handles, featuring a plain scrolling thumbpiece. The cream jug is fitted with an elongated C shaped silver handle and the sugar basket a swing handle, each ornamented with reed decoration. The silver coffee pot, cream jug and sugar basket are each supported by a plain and unembellished oval pedestal foot. The coffee pot, teapot and sugar basket bear the retailer's mark 'Walker & Hall, Sheffield, England' to the underside. This four piece tea and coffee service was crafted by the renowned London silversmiths Walker & Hall; the pieces will have been crafted in fewer year but due to the hallmarking system the coffee pot bears the Sheffield assay mark for 1901 (i), the cream jug features the Sheffield assay mark for 1905 (n), whereas the teapot and sugar basket were each assayed in Chester in 1906 (F). An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver gilt and cranberry glass dish; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver dish has an oval form. The sterling silver body of the antique dish is embellished with impressive pierced decorated interlacing scrolling decoration, accented with simplified floral motifs, in addition to scrolling leaf designs to the lower portion. The body is further embellished with four large embossed swag style leaf designs. The large leaf designs alternate with embossed bead bordered cartouches, three incorporating cast and applied floral spray medallions and the fourth incorporating monogrammed initials. The upper rim of the dish is encompassed with an applied bead decorated border. This exceptional dish is fitted with two cast and applied handpieces, incorporating a figural mask encompassed with scrolling decoration. The dish is supported by an oval domed spreading foot, embellished with further pierced decorated scrolling leaf decoration. This antique centrepiece is fitted with the impressive original cranberry glass liner. The surface of this exceptional sterling silver dish retains the original parcel gilding. This ornate dish is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire. Condition This antique glass dish is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition. This magnificent and impressive antique Georgian sterling silver spirit kettle has a circular rounded form. The surface of the Georgian silver kettle is plain and embellished with a contemporary engraved coat of arms encompassed with a scrolling leaf decorated border/cartouche. This antique silver kettle is fitted with a plain flush hinged hallmarked cover; the flush hinge indicates the fine quality of this piece. The cover is surmounted with the original carved stained wood and sterling silver topped button style finial. This exceptional example of antique silver tea ware is fitted with the original hinged hand piece overlaid with interwoven wicker, strategically interlaced to produce a segmented braided design. The cast handle is further ornamented with scrolling decoration, in addition to substantial leaf sockets in junction with the body. The kettle is fitted with an impressive cast spout, accented with a scrolling design to the tip of the lip, in addition to moulded decoration to the lower portion. The kettle detaches from the original hallmarked sterling silver stand, supported by three impressive opposing scrolling legs. The upper portion of the cast silver stand features a band of oval motifs, with a flared shaped upper rim. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver claret jug, made by George Fox; an addition to our diverse wine and drinks related collection. This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver claret jug has a bulbous rounded knopped form onto a circular domed foot. The swept neck and body of the jug are embellished with chased decorated scrolling strapwork bordered panels incorporating fruit and foliate designs on a matte background, intersected by bead motifs accented with trellis ornamentation. The body of this impressive claret jug is further ornamented with chased decorated stylized leaf designs to the lower portion and spiraling stylized bird designs accented with rosette motifs to the main portion. The decoration to the main portion of the body incorporates a large vacant oval cartouche to either side. Each incurved portion of the knops are ornamented with a stylized egg decorated border and floral motifs. The flared rim to the lip of the jug is embellished with a broad band of applied ribbed decoration. This impressive jug is fitted with an exceptional cast S scroll handle with a figural ornamentation to the upper portion and a tapering rope twist design to the lower portion. The lower socket features a bifurcating scrolling design with stylized leaf terminals whilst the upper curved bifurcating socket is embellished with chased leaf designs. The opposing interior side of the lip, below the upper terminal to the handle, is ornamented with a chased decorated grotesque mask. The foot is embellished with embossed decoration depicting flowing water incorporating conical shells and dolphin designs. The underside of the foot bears the retailer's mark 'Lamburts, Coventry St, London'. Condition This antique claret...

An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique Victorian English sterling silver potato dish rings; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection. These exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver dish rings have a circular waisted form. The sterling silver body of each dish is embellished with impressive embossed and pierced scrolling foliate and floral decoration. The posterior surface of each piece is ornamented with an embossed scene depicting a man in period attire holding a staff; it can be determined this figure is a shepherd. The body of each piece features a shaped vacant cartouche, flanked with a resting sheep and structure design, all amidst the aforementioned foliate decoration. The flared upper and lower rims of each dish are encompassed with an applied moulded border. These antique dish rings are fitted with a removable clear glass liner.
