This is a brand new Suzani from Uzbekistan done in the style of an Turkish Ottoman embroidery. Silk chain stitch on a cotton and silk background fabric. Lined with plain cotton.

It has fine silk embroidery on a cotton background.    

It is rather good condition apart from a few minor stains.

This suzani has a strong, unusual design. It is from 1960s or a bit earlier.
