This is an unusual Samarkand suzani from 19th C. It is in pretty good condition and displays an unusual design arrangement.    

A rather good example of the group of suzanis from Djizak, Uzbekistan. Finely embroidered in silk on a cotton background.   

It does not come with an insert. Cotton in the back. Zipper closure. Dry Cleaning is reccommended.
