This stunning, fine and impressive antique Edwardian pendant has been crafted in 9k yellow gold with platinum settings. The necklace features a stunning 9k yellow gold collet set 3.05ct oval cabochon cut opal. The feature opal is surmounted with a curvilinear array of seven graduating collet set diamonds, in a combination of Old European and eight cuts. The finely crafted pendant suspends from a contemporary 18' yellow gold chain via a trefoil-shaped bale to the upper border of the design ornamented with four further diamonds; the chain secures to the reverse with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening. This simple opal pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9ct and platinum.
