Fantastic vintage Spanish Colonial Revival style oak cupboard, hutch, cabinet, or dry bar comprised of hand carved oak, wood pegs & shelves, & brass. Circa, Late 19th Century through 20th Century. We really have a hard time determining age of this piece. It is fabulous no matter and is priced for its beauty and not its age. Enigma definition: A person, object, or thing that is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand. This cupboard is just that… definitely puzzling and mysterious!! And I sure wish it could talk because I bet it has some GREAT stories to share!! Something tells me it’s seen a few things and has had quite an interesting history. It is a one-piece cabinet comprised of oak with a top and bottom section and an open center section. The doors have carvings with (what we believe are) dates back to the 1600’s. The door fronts remind me of vintage livery cupboards… they are nostalgic and quite mystifying!! We don’t believe the whole cupboard is quite the same age, hence, more mystery! We believe the body or frame of the cupboard is Early 1900’s, possibly earlier, and was made from reclaimed lumber or someone possibly took pieces of an old cabinet and repurposed it. The top section is constructed with mortise & tenon joints (no nails!), the inner top & base cabinets each enclose a single adjustable wood shelf with aged wood peg brackets, and stepped siderails or shelf supports. Both the top and lower door fronts bear enigmatic brass armoire hinges...

The Fritz Hansen website states that the chair is made from 9 layers of pressure molded veneer for strength, flexibility, and durability despite its slender form. This one was made in 1993 and it is comprised of a molded black painted plywood seat which is uniquely shaped for the human body. Ergonomically enjoyable!! It has the chrome four-star leg base with chromed hooded wheel casters. It’s incredibly versatile, with unique character and unmatchable comfort. It is manually adjustable in height, and it swivels! It will make the perfect office or desk chair in your Scandinavian Modern or mid-century modern style home office or den. Fritz Hansen was founded in 1872, when Fritz Hansen, a Danish carpenter, founded his own furniture company and in 1915 introduced his first chair in steam bent wood. In 1934, Fritz Hansen began his collaboration with Arne Jacobsen resulting in some of the famous, classic icons of Danish Design including the “Ant” in 1952, the Series 7 in 1955, the Grand Prix in 1957, the Swan in 1958, and the Egg in 1958. Handsome pair of square Mid-Century Modern to modern Parsons style side tables or end tables comprised of a rectangular chrome tube frame with a white painted cane and glass insert top. They are in wonderful vintage condition. We have given the cane insert a fresh coat of paint and chrome has normal wear for age but nothing outstanding. Please see photos, circa 1960s-1970s. When I saw this lovely pair of little side tables I knew I had to have them to offer to you. I know you have just the spot to place them. They are square and Parsons style with frames made of rectangular chrome tube which is nicely welded and polished. They have a white cane and glass insert for the top. I have seen these attributed to Milo Baughman, but I do not believe that to be true. However, they are somewhat in his style with the combination of the chrome and cane. No matter who designed or made this pair they are handsome and handy little end tables. Place them side by side as a small cocktail table or split them up. They are the perfect spot to set a drink while relaxing in your favorite chair or napping sofa...
