His family lived in Italy until 1920 when the family moved to France. Volti studied at the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Nice from 1928 to 1920. Born in Barcelona in 1973, Mireia Serra's lifelong passion for sculpting was temporarily diverted by her parents' persuasion to pursue a career in fashion design. However, in 1998, she abandoned a lucrative role as a lingerie designer to follow her artistic calling and seek true fulfillment within the realm of fine arts. It was a transformative decision, allowing her to rediscover her true purpose and embark on a creative odyssey that continues to unfold to this day. In some of her present sculptures, the presence of elements from the fashion world such as cameras, texture, and detailed finishing of the clothes, and shoes are apparent. She graduated in 2002 from the Llotja School of Arts in Barcelona (the same school that took under its wing Antoni Gaudí, Pablo Picasso, and Joan Miró), specializing in iron and bronze. Later she took an advanced sculpture portrait course taught by sculptor Jorge Egea at MEAM (Museo European d'Art Modern) in order to master her technique. Working as a full-time sculptor since 2003, Serra started to exhibit with galleries throughout Spain and landed her first solo shows and her first international art fair in Madrid in 2013. Her works have been represented by Artspace Warehouse since 2017. Since 2016 Mireia Serra has been exhibited in galleries and art fairs in Germany, Austria, France, Luxembourg, Sweden, Belgium, Italy, and Hong Kong. Neil Wood (.1963) is a professional sculptor and fine artist . He has many years experience lecturing in fine art and sculpture at institutions in the UK. His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Mississippi Museum of Art in Jackson, Mississippi. Ceroli is one of the most influential artists of the Italian post-war period. Ceroli moved to Rome at the age of ten where he later graduated from 'Accademia delle Belle Arti'. At the Art Institute he worked under the guidance of Leoncillo Leonardi, Pericle Fazzini and Ettore Colla, where he experimented with the use of ceramic. In 1958, he first exhibited these works at the Premium Spoleto. In the same year Ceroli held his first solo exhibition at Galleria San Sebastianello of Rome. During 1959 he began to experiment with new materials, particularly with raw wood, such as Russian pinewood. He used these materials to create silhouetted shapes in his furniture and objects that related simplistically to the surrounding space. In the 1960's Ceroli took part in exhibitions related to the "Arte de Povera" group. He had also been involved as screenplay director collaborating with "II Teatro Stabile" in Turin and with "La Scala" In Milan. He was part of the generation of Italian post war artists that included Aligliero Boetti, Lucio Fontana, Alberto Burri, Pino Pascali, Piero Manzoni, Enrico Castellani, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Mimmo Rotella, Emilio Vedova.
