The outstanding necklace is pretty impressive in size and was masterfully crafted in gilt metal. It is composed by nineteen links and five dangle drops elements, which are embellished with a fabulous assortment of three hundred-ninety-eight natural intense red garnets. These rose and cabochons cut garnet stones were a Victorian favorite, often used in late-era jewelry designs. The necklace length is little over the sixteen inches and is fitted with a concealed security push box. This is an amazing iconic piece from the period in tremendous grade of preservation with absolutely no gemstones replacements. Surely an eye-catcher and a great conversation piece. Festoon Necklace A festoon necklace, is a design motif of a garland or string of flowers, leaves or ribbons.
