Large Trough

A very large wooden trough designed and produced in Sweden, 19th century.

The two large troughs are made of galvanized iron and each has four wood handles.

The large trough is hand-carved from solid limestone to a rounded, full-moon shape, gently weathered from years of use for a smooth, timeworn texture and appealing asymmetry.

A drainage hole is carved into one side, making the large trough ideal as a statement garden planter or unexpected sink basin.
