Ada Loumani
Ada Loumani is a French artist, born in 1959. He comes from a family of glassmakers and continued this tradition through a contemporary optic, in his studio in Valbonne, near Nice. A self-taught artist, Loumani specializes in blowing glass according to the Graal tradition, the latter uses successive hot and cold techniques to create effects deep inside the item. This technique allows the artist to capture paintings inside the glass and experiment around with the depths and resonance of colors. More than just craftsmanship, this is a real creative process. "My work is constantly evolving, the infinite inspiration and desire to take part in the adventure of imperious contemporary glass." said Ada Loumani. His work earned him a lot of fame abroad. Loumani has exhibited in the USA, Belgium, Algeria, Russia, Germany and France, to name a few. Recently, Loumani exhibited at the famous Harrods departmental store in London. Since 2007, the label "company of the living heritage" has proven the quality of the artist's creations. In the year 2007, Loumani was awarded the prestigious quality label Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant.
