for Napier Co. circa 1936. In a beguiling form, the shaker resembles a standing penguin with details ranging from pointy beaker, beady eyes to flap arms, all rendered in an Art Deco style. One can only describe it as "adorable". A piece that is truly a marriage between function and decoration. Branded 'NAPIER PATENTS PEND. 234' on the base. The shaker retains the strainer inside as well as the insulated porcelain mouth stop inside the openable beaker.
